                       The Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Exam is a nationally recognized certification for medical coders, sponsored by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). The exam covers topics such as medical terminology, anatomy, coding guidelines, and other healthcare related topics. It consists of multiple-choice questions and a practical coding application, and is administered in either a paper-and-pencil or computer-based format. To become certified, applicants must pass the exam with a minimum score of 70%.
